Sydney decided to feed grandpa ice cream when he came to visit. Notice that she feeds him ice cream off the table...what a total pushover he is!

Family update
Eric got accepted to a residency program in Yakima, WA...he is super excited as he'll get a lot of surgery experience, plus we get to move to Yakima. I mean who wouldn't love to move to a town whose name sounds like barf, has a population of 70,000 w/a gang problem and a downtown that has failed twice in revitalization? I guess that would be me. Actually, I am really excited and proud of Eric...this will be great for our future (it's only a year)...and we get to be out west. So if anyone has great information on Yakima, please let me know.
Carson is getting so big and seriously smiles all the time...he is too cute. His favorite spot is the changing table...he could seriously just chill there all day....and I let him:)

Sydney turned two this past week...and received her first princess outfit from grandpa and nonna...which she loves, I had to post.

Carson smiles!!!
Carson is smiling! It is so cute...and I caught a smile on camera. He has the cutest dimple too.
Sydney is a total ham...she loves the camera and loves taking pictures. She is also at that age where she repeats everything. My dad taught her "back it down" and she says it all of the time...along with "no way Jose" and "hey babe". She also has long enough hair for pigtails...she is getting to be such a big girl.

Carson Eric Bischoff is here!!!
We had our baby...he is healthy and cute and doesn't sleep enough!!! Carson weighed in at 8 lbs 6 oz and was 21 1/2 long. Sydney cannot get enough of him...and asks for the baby non-stop. I hope he survives his big sister. She is fascinated with his eyes and ears and nose etc...it really is so adorable. Here are some photos of the cute little guy:) He really looks a lot like Sydney did as a baby only he has dark hair...which means he looks a lot like Eric (I am only the carrier of our children as they seem to get Eric's genes).

The North End
Sydney loves this hat...I have tried to hide it in various places, but she seems to find it no matter what I do...I guess winter will be an easy adjustment for her.
She also loves chocolate cake (like her mom)...I thought this was too cute.
Thank you for all of your comments...I know I am not that great about responding, but I love your updates and comments:) Brooke

Vermont
We recently took a trip to Vermont to Joseph Smith's birth place, a maple farm and the "grand canyon of Vermont". It was a great day trip...and real maple syrup is the best...however, the Grand Canyon blows away Vermont's even though it is beautiful. We went with our friend's, the Louk's. We also loved visiting the birth place of Joseph Smith...the grounds are gorgeous...and you get to take a tour of the grounds on a golf cart...which Sydney loved partly because our driver thought she was in a racing car. I thought we were going to flip a few times.

Beach Day at Good Harbor in MA
So some of you may not believe what I am about to say...but I really do love the beaches here. In some ways, they are better than the beloved west coast beaches. They really are superb for little kids and families...otherwise, you may get bored. The sand is soft and the waves are small and there seems to be a gentle slope (no drop offs or pot holes) in the water so the kids can play and not worry about being swept away or falling. Plus, no sting rays (JR, you would do much better here than in HB). Here are some photos of our last trip:)
