Eric got accepted to a residency program in Yakima, WA...he is super excited as he'll get a lot of surgery experience, plus we get to move to Yakima. I mean who wouldn't love to move to a town whose name sounds like barf, has a population of 70,000 w/a gang problem and a downtown that has failed twice in revitalization? I guess that would be me. Actually, I am really excited and proud of Eric...this will be great for our future (it's only a year)...and we get to be out west. So if anyone has great information on Yakima, please let me know.
Carson is getting so big and seriously smiles all the time...he is too cute. His favorite spot is the changing table...he could seriously just chill there all day....and I let him:)
Sydney turned two this past week...and received her first princess outfit from grandpa and nonna...which she loves, I had to post.

Congrats! I find it interesting that now that I am on the east coast again and just LEFT Washington, that is where you are headed. Yeah for the west coast though! The east is fun for a couple of years, but it is all about the west! (We have 6 years of payback left, so probably 3 years in NC and then 3 years....who knows)
Congrats! I don't know much about Yakima, but I know I LOVED living in Seattle and in the Northwest in general. In fact, if my family were there I'd choose to live in the Northwest. Good luck!

I hope Sydney loves her new princess outfit because her cousins love to dress-up and they have tons of different dress-up dresses and princess stuff. I can't wait to see you guys and I'm glad your moving to barf-town because we'll get to see more of you and it's only a year.

Hey...we drove through Yakima once when we drove from Seattle to Richland where our friends were living at the time. Of course I don't remember Yakima, but Richland was a nice enough place to visit...it can't be too different. ;-) Congrats to Eric.
