Pros:
*Great mini-mall shopping...like the best Target, Vons, Ross, World Market etc...it may sound silly, but I LOVE it...I mean LOVE it. I shop these places daily, and I love new and big and beautiful...and these stores are it. I really think that big cities have great clothes shopping, but to get the real good Target's and grocery stores, you need to go to a smaller city...don't you think?
*Crazy-8 in the mall (that is about it though for the mall).
*Fabulous gym...great for the kids (fabulous care facility) and for the adults, it has everything (indoor and an outdoor pool, loads of workout areas and tons of classes) and is huge and new.
*Big roads...with a fast speed and good drivers.
*New, beautiful and affordable housing.
Cons:
*It smells like poop most of the time (in fact, we were outside playing and I kept checking the kids pants...and then remembered, it was just the air).
*Not many friends (that should change, I hope).
*More WT than I have ever seen in my life.
We are so happy to be here as a family...Eric commuted for awhile which was the pits! so that is the ultimate Pro. For right now, this is working out for us:) Here are a few pictures fromt he last few months. I don't know where any of the cords are to download the new photos etc...

So glad to hear where you are what you are up to. Sounds good. I totally understand the friend thing. With as much moving as we do you think I would be better at it. I have decided it takes a good year...and then it feels much better. Love the picture of the fries! Miss you. We are heading to DC for a week in March. Planning on seeing Suzy. Can't wait.
We miss you guys!
Great update! Enjoy Bakersfield. We know people there. Sure beats 25-degree (or less) Boston from December to early March!--tim and becky
I love the update! that picture of all of you at the top of the post is a GREAT pic. You're so pretty. So glad to hear things are going better than they were, I'll call you this week so we can catch up!
can't believe you're there too! Love the reference to WT. I laughed outloud. At least you can drive to lovely places like Pasadena and Corona del Mar. Sure, it's a hike but you're in the right state!
Brooke - it was SO good to see you at Rob/Nate's going away thing.
